Day 1

Addis Ababa-Debre Markos. En route Visit Debre Libanos monastery and the Nile Gorge. Overnight Hotel, Debre Markos.

Day 2

Debremarkos-Bahirdar. Afternoon city tour of Bahir Dar . overnight Hotel, Bahir Dar

Day 3

Bahirdar-Blue Nile Falls (32 Kms). Afternoon make a boat trip on Lake Tana and visit to one of the old (14th century) monasteries on the islands of Lake Tana. Overnight Hotel, Bahirdar

Day 4

Bahirdar-Gondar. In the afternoon visit the medieval castles (world heritage site) and churches of Gondar. Overnight hotel Gondar

Day 5

Gondar-Debark. Visit Semien Mountanes National Park (World heritage site) and on the way the
Felasha (Ethiopan Jewa) craft. Over night hotel, or Debark.(Simien Park Lodge )

Day 6

Debark-Axum passing through a wonderful scenery and walk on the Tekeze Bridge. Overnight
Hotel, Axum

Day 7

Axum. Full day visit the stele park (world heritage site), archeological museum, historic and pre-Historic sites and st.mary of Zion. Overnight Hotel, Axum

Day 8

Axum-Mekele. On the way visit the 5th century B.C edifice of the ‘Temple of the Moon’ at Yeha- the oldest city existed before Axum. Overnight Hotel Mekele

Day 9

Mekele-Lalibela. Overnight Hotel, Lalibela

Day 10

Full day visit of the eleven magnificent rock hewn churches of Lalibela(the 8th wonder of the World heritage as well). Overnight Hotel, Lalibela

Day 11

Lalibela. Half day the excursion to Asheten Mariam church and afternoon visit the Na’acuto leab church. Overnight Hotel, Lalibela

Day 12

Lalibela- Dessie. En route visit to Lake Hayk and its monastery. Overnight Hotel, Dessie

Day 13

Dessie-Addis Ababa. If arrived on market day, visit the colorful Bati (Monday Market) or Senbete (Sunday) Market. Overnight Hotel, Addis Ababa

Day 14

In the morning after Breakfast drive to Arbaminch- meaning “city of forty springs”, largest in southern Ethiopia; it is situated between the rift Valley, Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo, on the way visit the TIYA stele and Melka Kunitre Archeological sites and continue driving to the Dorze Village and experience their way of life. Overnight Arbaminch

Day 15

In the morning, visit Nech Sar National park passing through Arbaminch Forest and crossing the Bridge of Kulfo River-people call if the bridge of God, reach Netch Sar, here you can find a great number of birds and wild animals. In the afternoon, make a boat trip on Lake Chamo, where a lot of crocodiles and hipos live. Overnight Arbaminch

Day 16

After break fast drive to Jinka on the way visit the “Key Afer Market (Every Thursday) to see How Tsemai, Benna, Ari tribes make business in this colorful Market. Overnight Jinka

Day 17

A fast drive to Mago National park to visit the Mursi village(Mursi people are very colorful with a lot of body decoration, ornaments and most remarkable characterstics is the lip disk for which they are famous over the world). Overnight Jinka

Day 18

After break fast drive to Turmi, visit the Bena people and the Hammer people and every Morning there is a spectacular Hammer Market in Turmi. Hammer people dances and their marriage ceremonies with jumping of bulls and the women color their hair with red earth and butter and wear elegant leather skirts festooned with tiny pearls. Overnight Turmi camping

Day 19

After breakfast drive to Konso to meet the locals who are famous for Terracing, who erect totem poles on the tombs of their dead chiefs. Overnight Konso camping

Day 20

Drive to Awassa or Wendo Genet, on the way visit the village of Alaba and see the beautiful love Lake of Awassa. Overnight Awassa/Wendo Genet

Day 21

In the morning see the Fish Market in Awassa and drive to Addis Ababa via Rift valley lakes, Shalla, Abyata and Ziway. An abundant number of flamingos and other water birds on the Lakes, en route visit the Abyata-shalla National park. During the evening hours, dinner will be organized in one of the traditional restaurants of Addis with a cultural Music show. Transfer to Airport to international departure.
